Buying in Lubbock & surrounding communities

Find the right home,
and understand every step to it.

Buying a home is more than picking a listing. Your budget, timing, commute and plans for the next few years all matter. I'll help you bring those together, then guide you from the first showing to the day you get the keys.

The process

Six steps from "just looking" to home.

01

Start with your priorities

We'll talk through areas, must-haves, budget and timing. If you're financing, I'll suggest talking with a lender early so we know your range.

02

Get clear on how we'll work

Before we tour, I'll walk you through the buyer agreement in plain English, including what it covers and how compensation works.

03

Tour with purpose

We'll look past the listing photos at layout, condition and how each home fits your life, and I'll flag what's worth a closer look.

04

Write a strong offer

Price is one piece. We'll also weigh option period, financing, closing date and terms, so you offer with confidence.

05

Navigate the contract

I'll track every deadline, keep your lender, inspector and title company moving together, and explain each document before you sign it.

06

Close and get your keys

Final walkthrough, closing day, and a clear picture of what to expect at the table, because I've sat on the other side of it.

Why buy with Maddie Grace

An agent who knows what happens after you say yes.

Finding the house is the fun part. The weeks between contract and closing are where most buyers feel lost. I've spent years on the closing side of real estate, so I can tell you what's coming, what each document means, and what to do if something unexpected shows up.

Real estate is personal. I lead with faith, honesty and integrity, and I want to be someone you're glad you called long after closing.

Questions buyers ask me most

Do I need to be ready to buy before reaching out?

Not at all! Some of my favorite conversations start with "we're just starting to think about it." Reaching out early helps you know what to prepare and how your timing shapes the search.

Should I talk to a lender first?

If you're financing, yes, and the sooner the better! A lender can walk you through your options and estimated costs, which helps us focus the search. You always choose the lender you work with, and I'm happy to share a few names if you'd like.

How are buyer-agent fees handled?

Great question, and one I want you to feel totally clear on. We'll go over my services, compensation and your payment options together before you sign a buyer agreement. Broker compensation is negotiable and not set by law, and new construction can work a little differently than resale homes.

What if I find a home on Zillow or another site?

Send it my way! Just text or email me the link. I'll pull the details, and we'll decide together whether it's worth a showing.
